The Law Enforcement Hockey Classic to benefit Honor Flight Chicago returns for its 12th edition Saturday, March 1, 2025, at The Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL. Doors open early at 4:30 p.m. for this exciting, family-friendly evening highlighted by a spirited clash between teams from the Chicago Police Department and the Chicago branch of the FBI. The event includes fun side games like "Chuck-A-Puck," silent auction and raffle items, and a dedicated family fun area with more games and activities to enjoy before the puck drops at 6 p.m.!

Emcee Rick Hall, Afternoon D.J. on Throwback 100.3:

Rick Hall returns for the third year in a row as our Hockey Classic Emcee! Born in Southern California, Rick grew up in the Southwest Suburb of Plainfield. While Rick has always called Chicago home, radio has sent him to places like New York, Las Vegas and Milwaukee. A self-described “early adaptor” Rick has a house full of gadgets to prove it.  Rick weathers Chicago winters by attending Bourbon and Scotch tastings and can be found on area golf courses as soon as the snow melts. Rick has two children and resides in the West suburbs.
 

Wayne Messmer, “Chicago’s Original Voice of the National Anthem.”

Wayne Messmer returns as our National Anthem vocalist! Wayne gained recognition as the celebrated National Anthem soloist with the Chicago Blackhawks at Chicago Stadium for 13 seasons in the NHL, including the unrivaled NHL All-Star Game performance of the Canadian and United States National Anthems. Subsequently, he furthered his status with the Chicago Wolves, Chicago Cubs and formerly the Chicago White Sox. Messmer has performed for our veterans at the gate each flight in the last few Honor Flight Chicago seasons.
