Our waiting list currently stands at more than 2,500 veterans. The increased interest in HFC coincides with an increase in operating costs. In 2008 when HFC launched, it cost approximately $70,000 to fully fund one honor flight. Today, that per-flight cost is over $140,000. That is more than $1,200 per veteran.
